Source Hierarchy
We prioritize official and primary sources when maintaining data-heavy pages. Depending on the topic, these sources may include:
- ABA Standard 509 Information Reports
- ABA employment and bar passage disclosures
- Official law school admissions, financial aid, clinic, and career services pages
- LSAC resources for test format and admissions process information
- State bar and court admissions materials for licensing topics
Analysis and Estimates
Some Lawzee pages include rankings, calculator outputs, scholarship estimates, return on investment estimates, or career-path commentary. These are informational tools based on available data, formulas, assumptions, and editorial judgment. They are not admissions decisions, financial advice, legal advice, or employment guarantees.
Updates
We review high-impact law school data when new annual disclosures become available or when a significant policy change affects admissions, LSAT format, bar exams, tuition, employment reporting, or law school accreditation. Some pages may be updated more often when the underlying topic changes quickly.
Corrections
We correct material factual errors when they are identified. Corrections involving admissions medians, tuition, scholarships, employment outcomes, bar passage, deadlines, or school identity receive priority.
To report a correction, email [email protected] with the page URL, the data point in question, and the official source we should review.
Advertising and Affiliate Separation
Lawzee may display advertising or use affiliate links. Advertising relationships do not create official endorsements by Lawzee, and advertisers do not control our law school data, methodology, or calculator assumptions.
User Verification
Users should verify important information directly with official sources before making application, enrollment, borrowing, licensing, or employment decisions. Law schools and regulators can change policies, deadlines, tuition, scholarship rules, employment reporting, and bar admission requirements.
